Your use of this site in locating persons, must not breach any court orders, injunctions or any other form of legal documentation or process forbidding forms of contact with a specific person. If such documents exist pertaining to a customer or their representative and their intended search subject, you may not use our services.

UK Locate & Trace accept no responsibility for the accuracy or entirety of data contained in our databases. We make considerable efforts to make search results as accurate as possible. Our service does not charge for use of the data itself but rather for our time spent in interrogating and preparation of the data according to your requirement.

To purchase via this website, you agree to be held solely responsible if the information you are submitting is found to be incorrect, misleading, false or fraudulent and you understand and agree that we (UK Locate & Trace Ltd, PO Box 76,Bolton BL1 4WQ ) will not be held legally responsible for providing services based on any incorrect, misleading, false or fraudulent information by our customers.

Refund Policy

A refund will not be issued once an order has been placed. Amendments or cancellations to searches can not be made once an order is placed. If a cancellation is agreed, there will be a 50% charge to cover costs. If a search does not list any results or not the listing you require, a refund will not be issued. An additional search will be offered at no cost at request

Birth, Death & Marriage Certificates:

Certificates can not be ordered for any illegal purposes. If the application is rejected by the GRO for incorrect information or any other reason, a refund will not be issued. Certificates will be sent by first class post in an “unmarked” envelope for security reasons.

UK Locate & Trace will not be held liable for any loss, damage to the certificate.

A refund will be issued if we can not locate the current address within the specified time. If a result that is provided which is later disputed, we will need to carry out an investigation which may take up to 28 days.
